Feeding Therapy

Make Mealtime Less of a Battle and More of a Victory.

Eating doesn’t come naturally to everyone. At PDC we start with trying to determine the “why” behind your child’s feeding challenges. Your child may have underlying medical, oral-motor, and/or sensory issues. Based on your child’s “why”, we help your child develop skills and strategies for eating and expanding their diet.

Let’s Get to the Heart of the Issues Together.

Get to Feeding Victories
You are not in this alone. Our team will help you understand the factors that influence your child’s mealtime behaviors and dietary preferences.  Within the context of a supportive environment, we will help your child learn skills and strategies for feeding victories! Feeding therapy can be provided in-person or virtually.

The “Why” Profile
This profile is a great place to start—it walks you through learning differences and various considerations including medical, sensory, motor, environmental, and behavioral factors that may be impacting mealtime success.

“Like many children, my son has had food allergies, GI conditions and eating issues secondary to sensory processing problems since he’s been an infant, resulting in a very limited and unbalanced diet. Since we started working with the fun, creative and incredibly patient staff at PDC’s play based feeding program we’ve been able to turn things around. My son’s diet now includes additional sources of protein, fruit and fiber and we could not be happier! We are truly grateful to PDC for providing a locally based, convenient opportunity and for our therapist and son’s OT feeding coach at PDC for making this happen! We’re looking forward to continue working with them! Thank you PDC! “
