From Chaos to Calm: Creating an Organized Learning Environment at Home

Ready or not, school is about to start… in some form or another. Is the thought of starting of the school year through virtual learning overwhelming? Do you wonder how you can keep your child (and yourself) organized for virtual at-home learning without pulling your hair out? Take a deep breath, you are not alone!

 

Join Board Certified Educational Therapist and Learning Specialist, Bonnie Massimino, to learn organizational tips and strategies for making the upcoming virtual home-school learning experience less stressful for you and your children. Ten tips (and extra bonus ideas) for enabling you to get your own daily tasks complete while your child completes his/her schoolwork will be shared to help families move confidently from chaos to calm.

 

Bonnie Massimino, M. Ed, is a Board Certified Educational Therapist, certified Special Education teacher, and certified Reading Specialist with over twenty-five years of experience working with children and adults with learning disabilities, attention disorders, and executive functioning challenges. As a classroom teacher for children with severe learning disabilities, a Learning Specialist in an independent school, and

currently, through her private practice, LearningWise Strategies, LLC, she has been able to help students understand their own learning style and find academic success, help parents understand their children’s learning profile and their educational needs, help families implement and organize for home schooling instruction, and help faculty differentiate instruction and provide the necessary accommodations and modifications for struggling students.
